Seven electric bike charging stations have been installed in the Turku Science Park area. Charging is now even easier, as you can leave your bike battery in the locker for the duration of your workday or study day. Remember to bring your own charging cable. Charging is free.
The charging stations are located in BioCity, DataCity, ElectroCity, EduCity, ICT-City, TriviumCity and ParkCity. They are placed in the lobby area of each property, and in ParkCity, in a locked bicycle parking area at street level.
Using the charging station is easy: place the battery in an available locker, close the door, and follow the instructions on the screen. The locker is locked with a 4-digit PIN code, which is entered twice. The locker door can be opened with the same code. Charging is easy, and all stations have detailed instructions.
The charging stations have been supplied by the Finnish company VivoTech Oy.
